It is with genuine humility that I attach my name to something my Dad wrote 53 years ago, but I am positive that all who read this message will agree that it is still applicable in today's world. So, as we enter the holiday season, I thought this would be the right time to "republish" what he wrote.
"These are trying times for many in our country and around the world, and yet the Christmas Season will be a happy one. I believe it should be. If we could all carry with us year-round the true spirit of Christmas, our world would be a better place. With this thought and challenge Mrs. Bentley and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year." Wyanoke Christmas Log 1967
So, 53 years later, Mrs. Bentley and I wish you all a safe, joyous, and prosperous new year.
