...you can all stop sending me emails and private messages pestering me to repost the Christmas Suite from camp. It feels like I've gotten as many requests from Wyanokers for this ever-popular recording as some American Idol contestants have gotten votes.

Tastefully arranged and conducted by Mike and Pat Freeland, and recorded circa summer of 1970 out by the pump, featuring (I think... if I remember right...) camp buglers and trumpet players Bob Arnot, me, Billy Brink, Andy MacKenzie, Rick Porter, and Rich Rochford, accompanied by the Wolfeboro Ladies Present Auxiliary Philharmonic... I dredge up our rendition of Christmas Fanfare/Joy To The World/O Come All Ye Faithful.

IMPORTANT: Please relocate all cats, glass, and other fragile objects and sensitive creatures on your premises to other rooms (if not other premises). You've been warned, and I'm not patching or repainting any more ceilings to cover claw marks or replacing any more broken glass should you choose to disregard my warning. Then, once you've done that, with your computer speakers turned on but NOT (in the name of all that is holy) set to a particularly high volume, witness the power of this fully operational battle station by clicking:

and may all your Christmases be that bright.

Yeah, about that. Sorry this is so late, but I asked the guys to help record something equally special for New Years', but some of them I couldn't track down again, and I think some of the others are a little pissed at me that this 1970 Christmas thing resurfaced, though I don't really know why.

But one thing I learned as a musician, Never leave them wanting more. Or something like that. So in response to your special request, Chris, I personally created this recording, just for you. It's a little easier on the cats and glass, so the previous warnings don't apply, but well, it's not the most upbeat New Years' recording. I'd had a few too many glasses of bubbly the night before. Sorry.
