Just yesterday for some reason Wyanoke came into my head and I went online to see if there was anything there about the Camp. Wow! you have you're own page here! To let you know what I have been doing as of late this it. About 12 years ago I was going through a bad relationship and a friend offered me a job as a Night Security person at Greenfield State Park. I liked the job and as a former Police Officer was qualified for it.
Little did I know at that time I would become the Park Manager 2 years later. I do like my job, Greenfield State Park is the largest campground in the state system 247 sites which means on weekends I have 900 to 1200 people camping in my backyard. My job can be that of Camp Director, Mayor, and Judge at times. The one thing I can say is that it is never boring. It was good to see how many Wyanoke folks are still around and that this site is here. I'll stay intouch. |
