Hello, Everyone!
I was very excited to discover this site a few days ago and to see so many long-lost friends! I've also enjoyed the pictures that have been posted, and hope to reciprocate when I can find a way to convert slides to digital format.
I'm writing this from our family place on Winter Harbor (a condo unit at WinMiir, on Rte 109 near Tuftonboro Neck Road), which we've had for over 20 years now. My folks (dad, also a Wyanoke alum) have lived in Wolfeboro for more than 25 years now, so I've been a constant visitor to the area, running into Dave Bentley and Tom Falcon in town occassionally.
My wife, Irene, and I have been married the past 26 years, living most of that time in North Yarmouth, Maine where we raised our two daughters, Rebecca (25 and serving in the Peace Corps in Togo, W. Africa) and Julia (21 and a senior at Mount Holyoke College). We've felt fortunate to raise both girls with a love of Lake Winnepesaukee and, like me, they feel that the lake's water runs through their veins.
For nearly 20 years I worked as a lawyer, both in private practice and in a corporate setting. Four years ago I mad a career change and entered seminary. I was ordained as a Unitarian Universalist minister in the Spring of 2006 and called to pastor a church in Media, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. Irene and I packed up our stuff (throwing away tons of it, too!) and moved last summer, and we're now living in Swarthmore, PA.
I'm sorry I missed the 2005 reunion; didn't get word about it. My best to Garth and Mike, our fearless trip leaders, and to all my friends from Wyanoke.
Peter

Wow, I hadn't thought about the RLA for years. I remember trying to explain the RLA to a camper who was from South America. It was a lost cause from the start. He had no chance of understanding. _________________ J-1 1970, Marc Liddle from Scotland
