Great clip, Dave! I heard it for the 1st time last week and just may use a likeness of it. I have no remorse for telemarketers. Although the "Do Not Call List" has worked pretty well so far, excluded are businesses that one does business with, i.e. credit card companies, phone service, cable, etc. They are just as much of a pain.

Back before the Do Not Call lsit my father used to play with these guys too. He had a few things he would do.

One was to honestly answer their "How are you today?" opening remark. He would start going through all of hte aches and pains he had including recent surgeries. After a whle most of them would just give up.

Another time when they asked for Robert Shirley (my father and son both have the same name) he asked them to hold for a moment and handed the phone to my 2 year old son who had recently learned how to say "Hi" on the phone. That was all he would say. He was actually on theline for quite a while. The whole room was crackign up.
