Twice within the last 10 days I have met Wyanokers in places I wasn't expecting to meet them. Last week I was in a local real estate office talking with Tom Falcon and in walked Glen Martinsen, his wife, and their dog. Glen and his brother Kenny were campers and (?) staff members a bunch of years ago. By way of geographical reference, their cousin (or Uncle) lived in the cottage and boat house across the harbor just up the shore from Melanson's Beach. They were very active water skiers. And, secondly, just today Sherry and I were going to a table in a local restaurant and there sat Bob and Dana Fox and two friends from London. Bob looks like Bob looks, and, except for a few more birthdays, he looks just like he did a million years ago when I was his JC in J-10 in 1959. I invited him to join the Wyanoke site and keep up with news. He will be back up here for a longer time in July and August.

So, you never know who will pass through your life at any time.

Welcome to the Camp Wyanoke site! Great to have you here. Isn't Warren Muir your uncle or cousin? The reason I ask is that I remember a connection between you and him. Warren and I were classmates at Pelham H.S. in NY and graduated together in '63. The Muirs owned the brown boat house directly across from the Jr./Sr. wharf.

I remember Brad letting me visit with Warren one Sunday afternoon to water ski while I was at camp. We had to get some type of "release" to allow me to travel off camp property back then, I guess for liability purposes. Anyway, it was a great time back in '60 or '61. As I remember they had a Shepherd inboard and great for water skiing!

Hope you and your family are doing well, and welcome again, Glen!

And yes . . . . . . I do remember Howdy Doody, Bob Smith, Clarabelle, Princess Summer Fall Winter Spring, Flubadub and I'm sure I'm leaving a few out! Wasn't there a Mr. Flibbertygibbit . . . the cranky old guy? Warren's dad was the executive producer of Howdy Doody.

Hi Jim, and welcome Glen,

That was Mister Bluster. Do you remember Howdy's brother's name? Double Doody. Really.

Now you're really jogging my memory, Mike! Laughing Yep, Phineas T. Bluster. I do forget the "Double Doody" brother!
