Here is a great website for various radio station airchecks during the 50's, 60's and 70's. A great compilation of jingles, interviews and airchecks from DJ's we used to listen to at Wyanoke from WBZ, WMEX, WRKO and even a few from WFEA Manchester, NH. Also NY State, CT and Philly stations are represented.

I have included a link to an interview with Arnie "Woo Woo" Ginsberg who was an extremely popular DJ on WMEX, Boston during the late 50's and early 60's who played the Top 40 hits at the time. Great interview with Arnie who sounds the same today as he did 47 years ago! It's worth a listen if you remember him doing the "Night Train Show" on WMEX.
"Christopher Lydon Interviews Arnie "Woo Woo" Ginsberg on WTKK Boston 2001. (39:00) It was just great to hear former WMEX Boston star Ginsberg on the air again in this interview with well regarded Boston news-talk person Chris Lydon. Besides some great memories of Arnie, the interview features a segment with radio talk pioneer Jerry Williams. It's amazing to hear Ginsberg... he sounds exactly the same as he did in the early days."
