HI My name is Karen Duboc Calvin. I was 8 and 9 I think when I attended camp. I believe that was 1961 and 1962. I got the Spirit Award my first year, because I came all the way from Kansas city and I was young. I learned to water ski and Horse back ride my first year. I remember white shirts and green shorts. I do not remember whether I was on the white team or the green team.
Winnemont closed after my second year. |

Karen Calvin is my daughter. My name is Bob Duboc, and obviously I never attended Winnemont. I was at Wyanoke for 4 wonderful summers in the mid to late 30's.
Thought I should write this because Karen used my user name to post her message and the way that worked out in the records it looks like I attended Winnemont.
Many wonderful people at both camps.
